aquili & alberg vertigo table
The first project for Moroso by Laura Aquili and Ergian Alberg, both graduates from the Milan Politecnico and the Delft University of Technology.
A partnership born in the London studio of Zaha Hadid and which in 2006 saw the setting-up of the Aquilialberg studio. Laura Aquili and Ergian Alberg have designed the side table Vertigo for Moroso, the product of research into the perception of movement applied to daily life.
The shape evolves in space in a continuous and measured alternation of the surfaces. Inspired by Escher, it restores a new dynamic quality to the image, constructing its form in an exchange of continuity between solids and empty spaces, lightness and movement.
