A product introduced well before its time, the Eames Desk Unit is emblematic of the grace and whimsy Charles and Ray Eames used in solving home furnishing problems. With the ESU line, modestly priced, steel-frame, modular units could be infinitely combined according to the needs and tastes of the user. The EDU works as a compliment to the other Eames Storage Unit components or as a stand-alone home office desk.

Top finish is birch. Panels are painted hardwood board, color or natural. The file cabinet front is birch, and the uprights and cross supports are zinc-coated steel. Adjustable foot glides are nylon. The desk is available with the file drawer on either the right or left hand side.

Product codes ending in "NC" indicate the "natural color" storage units. Product codes ending in "W9" indicate the multi-colored version of the storage units.

File drawer dimensions are: 24" depth, 16" width, 12.5" height.
