Ferruccio Laviani got it just right with his design for the Bourgie Table Lamp, a beautiful lighting piece that combined traditional asthetic sensabilities with modern materials in a design that is casual, formal, ironic, and adaptable all at once.

Luckily for all of us he didn't rest on his laurals and has produced the Ge' hanging lamp. Borrowing the pleated look of the Bourgie lamp's shade Laviani has produced a lamp suitable for many different environments that is as firmly rooted in the past as it reaches into the future.
