high-tech materials using body-friendly engineering, the Aeron chair comes
in three sizes to fit all body types.
The chair's KinematŽ tilt mechanism virtually floats the user; the
result is a chair created to be carefree. Single-stage pneumatic lift
gives an unprecedented seat-height range, from a low of 16 inches (A-size)
to a high of 20 1/2 inches (B and C sizes). Standard lumbar pad adjusts
vertically through a 4 1/2-inch height range. Its depth can be set at 3/4
inch or 1 1/4 inches.
PostureFit adjusts to the lower back's contours, eliminating the void
between the lower back and the chair; hence, PostureFit supports the
natural forward tilt of the pelvis to promote the alignment of the spine
enabling the sitter to sustain a healthier posture. Tilt-tension
adjustment easily controls the resistance felt while leaning back. Tilt
tension knob allows control of the resistance felt as the user leans back
in the chair.
Pellicle material distributes weight evenly over the seat and back,
conforming to body shape. The material also lets air pass through,
preventing body heat buildup. Arms can be adjusted independently to
relieve shoulder strain; pivoting independently inward 17.5 degrees for
keying and outward 15 degrees for mousing. Arm height adjusts
independently within a 4-inch vertical range. Tilt limiter controls the
tilt range without being locked into a single position. Forward-tilt
adjustment postions seat angle 5 degrees forward, a comfortable posture
for intensive keyboarding.
