This table's unusual dimensions let it serve in so many ways. Use several in rows or all by themselves to make coffee tables, end tables, plant stands. Of historic note, the table's designers, Charles and Ray Eames, used several to host a tea ceremony with guests Isamu Noguchi and Charlie Chaplin. Two U-shaped wire rods attach to a laminate top. The top's edges are beveled at 20 degrees to reveal a seven-ply Baltic birch core edge with a high-pressure laminate backer underneath and a high-pressure laminate top in black or white.

The multi-layered veneer-edge table has a 7-ply Baltic birch core, a 7/8" laminate or light ash top, and a zinc-plated wire base.
